The Ullswater Inn

Hospitality & Leisure

lambert-gill have a current and historic involvement with The Ullswater Inn. In its previous life as The Glenridding Hotel, we constructed the Staff Accommodation Block and a year or two later, post Storm Desmond, we renovated the whole ground floor after extensive flood damage.

In early 2023 the new owners, The Inn Collection Group, entrusted us to remodel and renovate the entire hotel.

The project was carried out on a design and build basis with extremely tight timescales and threw up all the expected challenges of an historic building which had changed over the years under varying ownership.

The Client and our team worked collaboratively to quickly overcome each challenge and keep momentum going.

The project also challenged our Joiners Shop who were tasked with producing an abundance of bespoke joinery, including bars, stairs, screens and panelling. The project was delivered successfully.

I have stated verbally, and hereby confirm to you that I believe lambert-gill limited to be one of the very best renovation and refurbishment contractors that we have worked with…
