Lambert-gill were involved with the Lakes Distillery from inception. From the Client’s original vision of converting an existing Victorian model farmstead, we worked in partnership with the Client’s team to create a world-renowned whiskey distillery.

Timescales were critical and we coped with all the challenges of working with historic agricultural buildings, maintained the highest level of quality and still delivered this multi million pound prestige development on time and to budget.

The Lakes Distillery has recently been awarded World’s Best Single Malt 2022 and our relationship with them has developed over time as we have carried out further projects on the main site at Setmurthy, together with projects to create additional storage in other Cumbrian locations.
