Cumbria Museum of Military Life

This high profile project comprised conversion of an existing Grade 2 Listed Building sited on a Class 1 monument...

...from the existing City Archives to become Cumbria’s Museum of Military Life.

The scheme involved external repairs to stonework, roof slates, leadwork and windows and a full remodelling and refurbishment scheme to all internal areas.

Lambert-Gill Joinery Ltd manufactured and fitted special fittings for the museum exhibits. All work was carried out sympathetically and in keeping with the history of the building and overall Castle site.
